Surf and Turf Caesar Salad
I made this on a CRAZY hot summer evening when our air conditioner was broken and we had a GF friend coming over for dinner. It was a major hit!
3 Hearts of Romain lettuce
Steaks (roughly 1 lb per person) (Rib Eye, New Your Strip, Skirt, etc)
1 lb Shrimp (I use a package of frozen)
Bottle of your favorite Caesar dressing
Thread shrimp onto skewers for grilling.
Grill steak and shrimp to your desired doneness.
While the steak rests, chop Hearts of Romain and place in a large serving bowl.
Top with optional Croutons and Parmesan Cheese.
Slice steak into strips and place on top of lettuce.
Stack skewered shrimp on top of the steak.
Serve with tongs and top with your desired amount of dressing.
