Creamy Garlic Chicken with Broccoli
Don't you love it when you stumble across a recipe that immediately becomes a family favorite? Well, that's exactly what happened with this Creamy Garlic Chicken with Broccoli.
2 pounds chicken thighs (I use bone-in skin on for this recipe)
1/2 teaspoon Paprika
4-5 cloves garlic
1 10.75 oz Can Cream of Chicken Soup
1 10.75oz Can Cream of Broccoli Soup
1 1/2 Cups Water
2-3 Cups Chopped Fresh Broccoli, or 1 160z bag Frozen Broccoli Florets
Season chicken with salt, pepper & paprika. Set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add chicken and cook for 6 minutes on each side until the chicken is browned.
Remove chicken from skillet.
Add garlic to skillet and saute till fragrant.
Whisk in cream soup and water.
Cook till mixture is hot and bubbly, then turn heat to low.
Add chicken back to skillet.
Add broccoli to the skillet.
Cover and simmer on low for 20 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and broccoli is tender.
Serve with pasta or rice.
