Chicken Schwarma Burgers
The Man LOVES it when I make anything Schwarma-related. Rachael Ray says you can make anything into a burger, so I said, why the heck not... enter, the Chicken Schwarma Burger.
2 tablespoons Cumin
1 tablespoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Salt
2 pounds Ground Chicken
1 1/2 cups Bread Crumbs
1 bunch Green Onions (chopped)
2 cloves Garlic (minced)
1 cup Cilantro (coarsely chopped)
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
2 tablespoons Dry Sherry
Combine Chicken, Bread Crumbs, Eggs, Cumin, Pepper, Salt, Green Onions, Garlic, and Cilantro in a large bowl. Mix to combine.
Divide mixture evenly into 4 or 6 patties (depending on how big you want them)
Wrap a plate in plastic wrap.
Smear plastic wrap with Olive Oil (this will prevent your patties from sticking to the plate).
In a small bowl, combine Olive Oil, Soy Sauce, and Dry Sherry. (Take this with you to the grill)
Grill burgers to an internal temperature of 165 degrees, basting with Oil, Soy, and Sherry mixture as it cooks.
Once it cooks, smear buns with Tzatziki Sauce.
Add a patty.
Top with Salad Greens.
Place top bun.
Serve with a side salad or your favorite fries.
