Haystacks

I made these for the holidays at the request of The Man... they also made a great addition to the goody baskets we gave to friends and family. Guess I'll have to keep making them.


Ingredient List:

1 cup Semisweet Chocolate Chips

1 cup Milk Chocolate Chips (I had Hershey Bars, so that's what I used)

3 cups Chow Mein Noodles

1/2 cup rough chopped unsalted Peanuts


  1. Melt all the chocolate chips in a double boiler. Stirring occasionally, this will take 4-5 minutes

  2. Measure out noodles and nuts and set aside till chocolate is melted.

  3. Once the chocolate is melted, add noodles and nuts to the chocolate, and stir thoroughly to coat.

  4. Remove from heat.

  5. Create Tablespoon mounds using a cookie scoop onto parchment-lined baking sheets.

  6. Allow to cool and dry for at least an hour before storing.
