Oven BBQ Chicken

I don't usually make recipes in this quantity anymore, but for some reason, the family pack we bought didn't get separated before going into the deep freeze, so I didn't have much choice. Good thing I planned a way to use the leftovers.

Ingredient List: Chicken (You can use a cut up fryer, thighs, breasts, it really doesn't matter. I used bone in, skin on thighs) 1 bottle BBQ Sauce of your choice 2 Tablespoons Cooking Oil

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Add cooking oil to skillet and heat to medium.

  3. Lightly brown chicken on each side. I used thighs, and found this took about 5-7 minutes per side.

  4. Transfer chicken to foil lined 9x13 baking dish

  5. Add a dollop of BBQ Sauce to each piece of chicken, and brush around with a basting brush, or spoon back.

  6. Bake for 30 minutes (for thighs). Time will need to be adjusted for other cuts of chicken.
