Dehydrated Scalloped Potatoes
This is a great recipe for using up dehydrated potatoes. It would also work great for camping food, or in a jar as a lovely gift.
3 cups Dried Potato Slices
1/4 cup Skim Milk Powder
2 tablespoons Flour
2 tablespoons Corn Starch
2 teaspoons Onion Powder
1 tablespoon Dried Chives
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon Mustard Powder
1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper
2 3/4 cup water
3 tablespoons Butter
Preheat oven to 350°.
Pour potato slices into an 8x8 casserole dish.
In a small bowl, combine Powdered Milk, Flour, Cornstarch, Onion, Chives, Mustard Powder, Salt & Pepper.
Gradually whisk in water and mix to ensure no lumps remain.
Pour over Potato slices.
Cut Butter into small pieces and distribute over the top of potatoes and liquid.
Place in oven and cook for 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
